Key Responsibilities:
- Strengthen financial control processes through detailed analysis and accurate reporting.
- Oversee credit control activities to ensure timely collection and account reconciliation.
- Develop and implement dashboards, exception reports, and credit monitoring tools.
- Coordinate with brokers, clients, and internal departments for efficient credit management.
- Support the finance leadership in audits, forecasting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor credit risk exposure and ensure compliance with company policies and UAE financial regulations.
- Supervise and mentor a small team to achieve departmental goals effectively.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (mandatory).
Skills & Experience Requirements:
- 5–7 years of progressive experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or financial reporting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, Power Query).
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as QlikView, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Proven ability to design dashboards and analytical reports for management review.
- Excellent reconciliation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English and Arabic, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail, capable of meeting tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and manage a small team effectively.
- Preferred: Experience in the insurance industry, UAE credit practices (including AECB checks), and knowledge of insurance receivable cycles.
